FORMABLE Off-Axis Immobilization
Tac Med Operator® delivers rigid off-axis long bone and joint immobilization from an enveloping framesheet with an off-axis adaptor inserted into long-axis monostay to provide an articulated posterior support platform with formable medial/lateral walls, that prevent extremity movement, provide for control hemorrhage, immobilizing skeletal and soft-tissue trauma in position found when indicated.
TRACTION Integrated Dynamic Immobilization
Tac Med Operator® uses entire splint surface area in contact with anatomy as an anchor point for counter-traction forces, dissipating and balancing applied biomechanical forces within entire splint enveloping framesheet eliminating any externally applied pressure points against pelvis, while providing a posterior enveloping platform that overcomes gravity effects, controls contractive muscle spasm, distal bone end retraction, and balances applied biomechanical forces without applying proximal limb root pressures.
PSD™ Pelvic Stabilization Device is a lightweight, compact, rapidly applied pelvic stabilization device that delivers bilateral circumferential compression and pelvic bony stabilization. The Pelvic Stabilization Device™ is indicated for immediate management of pelvic ring injuries, in acute management of exsanguinating pelvic trauma, and when pelvic injury is suspected from mechanism of injury... much the same as a cervical collar is used to protect cervical spine from further injury prior to definitive identification and care. Splinting the pelvis approximates bone ends, reducing low-pressure bleeding from bone ends and disrupted veins, and overcomes gravity effects on lateral soft-tissues aspects providing neutral alignment.
